  • Whether they are already experienced accounting professionals working as certified public accountants, or just starting out in their accounting careers, students in the Master's of Science in Accounting program may go on to hold job titles such as accountant, CPA, auditor, internal auditor, accounting manager, financial analyst, and controller. The MSA program can substantially improve accounting professionals' career prospects, in many cases helping them launch careers as CPAs at top accounting firms. Students who wish to become licensed Certified Public Accountants will need to take the Uniform CPA Examination. Although the CPA exam is a uniform nationally administered examination within the United States, the academic requirements needed to sit for the exam vary from state to state. It is each student’s responsibility to research the requirements to sit for the CPA exam based upon state guidelines. While our program is designed to strengthen your CPA evaluation outcome, it is each student's responsibility to prepare for and pass the CPA examination.

  • We do not offer any scholarships for this MSA program, but online Master’s students can apply for federal loans.
  • Unfortunately, learners residing in one or more of the following countries or regions will not be able to register for this program: Iran, Cuba and the Crimea region of Ukraine. While edX has sought licenses from the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to offer our courses to learners in these countries and regions, the licenses we have received are not broad enough to allow us to offer this program in all locations. edX truly regrets that U.S. sanctions prevent us from offering all of our courses to everyone, no matter where they live.
