The New England Medical Innovation Center (NEMIC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit HealthTech Venture Hub that provides expert support, education, connections to funding, and specialized expertise to innovators and entrepreneurs in the medical technologies space. Founded in 2017 by Managing Partners Aidan Petrie and Lydia Shin Schroter, NEMIC has over 100 years of combined medical device development experience. At NEMIC, we envision a healthcare and life sciences ecosystem where resources, skills, and technologies are interconnected at all levels–from local to global. We strive to bring together a robust, diverse community that fosters an interdisciplinary approach to innovation.
