Learners receive hands-on training throughout the entire program both during eight on-campus immersions and in clinical settings.

During immersions, learners practice assessing patient needs and applying appropriate interventions, and have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience alongside their peers and under the guidance of their instructors.

Clinical education experiences total 32 weeks. Learners work with patients in various in-person clinical settings where they gain exposure to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Learners serve patients across different rehabilitation settings, including rehabilitation hospitals, acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, out-patient clinics, and specialized care settings.
